LOT Polish Airlines

 

 

1920; Inauguration of the first airline connection from Warsaw.
1921; "Aerotarg" Poznań Airline Society is established for a short time, which organises the first Polish regular connection from Poznań to Warsaw in May and June.

2009; The fleet of Polish Airlines LOT, one of the youngest in Europe, consists of 53 aircraft. Trans-Atlantic flights are serviced by 7 wide-body Boeings 767. European flights are daily serviced by 8 Boeings 737, 14 Embraers 170/175, 11 regional jets Embraer 145 as well as 13 ATR 72 turboprops and 42-500, bearing colours of regional EuroLOT airline.

 

Pilots are one of the unquestionable assets of LOT Polish Airlines. For many years the pilots of LOT Polish Airlines have been recognized as the best pilots in the world. Read more..
